Engine & Performance
The 2013 SLS AMG GT is powered by a 6.3L V8 that produces 583 horsepower and 479 lb ft of torque. For optimized transmission control, the engine is paired with a 7-speed automated manual sports transmission.
The steering wheel has aluminum shift paddles featuring several mode choices ranging from comfortable and smooth shifts to the RaceStart program and seamless and the lightning quick shifts (for the track). From 0 to 60 mph, it takes a mere 3.6 seconds.

Exterior
These include adaptive suspension dampers, 19 inch front and 20 inch rear alloy wheels, power-folding mirrors, keyless ignition/entry, bi-xenon headlights, blind spot monitoring system, rear view camera, and rear and front parking sensors.
The conventionally hinged gull wing style doors reveal larger space since they swing upwards which is less obstructive. The black trim on the door panels, metal air vents, and center console provide a sporty touch.

Interior
The interior is equipped with driver memory settings, leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats (with bolster adjustments and power lumbar), heated front seats, and a navigation system. The dash, doors, seats, and console features high standard finely stitched leather.
For driver and passenger, MB AMG provides a six-speaker sound system (with CD changer), an iPod integration and satellite radio, dual zone automatic climate control, voice commands, Bluetooth, and eight way power front seats.
They have also added a removable wind deflector, a three layer power folding soft top, and AirScarf. The official trunk space for the coupe is 6.2 cubic feet while the Roadster has 6.1 cubic feet.
