Audi’s motor sport campaigns is so famous and Roland Gumpert, an engineer played a major role in it. He created a car, which is so aerodynamically efficient and can be driven on the roof of a tunnel. Based in germane in 2004 he founded his own brand company in 2004, Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH. He released his first car, the Gumpert Apollo, in 2006.
